A hard-working ant colony is terrorized by a mean grasshopper gang led by the evil Hopper (Spacey) and his dim-witted brother. Flick (Foley), an inventive but accident-prone ant, volunteers to find an army of tough bugs to scare off the oppressors. However, due to a minor misunderstanding, he ends up with a troupe of unemployed circus bugs. It may take more brains than brawn to intimidate the mighty grasshoppers.

A BUG'S LIFE is the second computer-animated feature from TOY STORY's Pixar Studios. Once again they've applied their flair for story and character, along with their considerable technical skills to create a fun, fast-moving tale. This 2-disc set is quite honestly the reason DVD exists - the DVD transfer is taken directly from the original movie data, resulting in the crispest, cleanest picture and sound that is all-digital. In addition, the Pixar geeks have collected an entire disc of supplemental material chronicling every aspect of production, from the earliest ideas all the way through theatrical and DVD releases.
