Lupin's rival, a beautiful thief named Fujiko also shows up on the scene, with her own bag of tricks. To really complicate matters, Lupin's nemesis, Inspector Zenigata of InterPol, is hard on his heels. Can Lupin rescue the princess, uncover the counterfeit plot and avoid arrest? Of course!

CineSight Comments

Acclaimed Japanese anime (animation) director Hayao Miyazaki (PRINCESS MONONOKE) is the artistic brains behind this full-length adventure - part James Bond, part Pink Panther. Based on the popular Japanese Lupin comic books, plenty of action and a detailed story turn THE CASTLE OF CAGLIOSTRO into a rip-roaring caper. The movie has been described by Steven Spielberg as one of the greatest adventure movies of all time. Watch it and you'll understand why. Although the disk doesn't contain much in the way of additional features, the movie itself is really all you need.
