CineSight Rating ***
Hong Kong super-cop Jackie Chan is on the trail of a stolen nuclear warhead. He almost catches up with the thief, Tsui (Lou), in the frozen Russian republic of the Ukraine. But recovering the deadly weapon isn't easy, since not only the CIA and KGB are involved; the Russian mafia is also after the prize, and will do anything to get it. Chan battles enemy helicopters, snowmobiles and skiing soldiers before the trail leads him to Australia. There he tracks down Tsui's sister (Wu), in the hope that she'll lead him to his quarry. The high-speed chase culminates in an all-out battle in the streets of Brisbane and in a giant aquarium tank full of sharks.

As usual, Jackie Chan pulls out all the stops in this rollercoaster adventure, which manages to out-Bond even James Bond (compare this with THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH - Chan rules). The death-defying stunts are nothing short of amazing and the outtakes, included with the closing credits, prove it really is him risking life and limb for the sake of 'realism'. While the disk doesn't include much in the way of additional features, you'll probably wear out your rewind and slow motion features just trying to figure out how Chan achieves his lightning fast martial arts sequences.
* During the ski chase scene, one of the last ski soldiers dropped from the helicopter stumbles and falls just before the end of the shot.
* Chan has amazing self-drying clothes, which are no longer wet as soon as he climbs out of the water.
